Coldplay

I just got to listen to Coldplay's ''new'' album ''Ghost Stories'' released in May. The album is apparently inspired by Chris Martin's separation from his then-wife Gwyneth Paltrow. So I got onto the second track, ''Magic'', which was supposedly one of the singles but it doesn't sound impressive or impressionable. I decided to reminisce the good ol' days when Coldplay made awesome music like those in the X&Y era. Gawd I love that album! It has so many good songs that I still love up till now, like ''Talk'' and ''The Hardest Part''. Back then, those songs had memorable guitar rifts and were far more melodic and the sound had that mellow and bitter-sweet edge to it. It still creates quite a bit of stir in me when I listen to these 2 brillant songs! I wish they could make songs as awesome as those in the former albums. Enjoy the tunes!

Cheers to the 2 days PH, though very unfortunately I'll prolly be working my ass off this Saturday from the pile up of new cases. Anyway, yesterday went clubbing with the JH girls. We had initially planned to go to Butter Factory but by the time we reached, the queue was crazy massive long, we would be considered lucky to even manage to get in by 2am.  Sooo, we decided to change party destination to trusty Zouk again. As expected, it was full house too but the bouncer ''sneaked'' us in anyway. MISTAKE. Apparently, they sneaked in many people too(waay past the full house limit) we had so much trouble getting through. The bouncers were like yelling and flashing their torchlights at people's faces, it was mad chaotic. Washroom was a nightmare too, queue was insanely long. Felt kinda silly and pointless actually.. everyone around you dressed up to impress , mindlessly being ushered and pushed around and having flashlight shone on your face.. instant moodkill. dang. Then we finally managed to get into the main Zouk place, but the music they play is no longer what it used to be, no longer the trance, electro, techno thing. They play all the random trashy Nicki Minaj songs. Instead, they play those electro songs in Phuture now. Smart move Zouk people, they knew the mainstream songs attracted more crowd so they played them in the bigger venue now. Kinda disappointing. Aiya but oh well...

R.I.P Cory Monteith :'(

Everyone probably heard about the passing of Cory Monteith yesterday. I felt so heartbroken when I heard of the news. He is so perfect, suave and has has the most boyish charm ever.. And he had a bright future ahead of him, he was only 31 :( . And seeing how sweet he and Lea are together while he was still around is so saddening. Below is a video tribute to him set to Christina Perri's ''A Thousand Years'', pretty sure to reduce you to a puddle of tears. :(( . Sigh..

Sigh, sickly me is sick again. Been having on and off flu for coming to 4 weeks and stubborn me finally went to see the doctor today because I lose my voice (almost completely). I feel as if all my sinuses are clogged up from all the mucus and my breathing is somewhat laboured (a little bit of wheezing there). So I went to trusty family doctor and he told  me that my condition is really bad, the larynx are all inflammed and stuff and that it would soon spread to my lungs blah blah. Throat hurts like a bitch too. Once again, he prescibed me a super expensive (presumably better) antibiotics which cause me 10 bucks per pill! Heartache much.. :(

Just finished watching The Walking Dead Season 2, got to say it's really good. Spoiler warning below!

They took away 2 characters, namely Dale and Shane. Obviously, I don't give a shit above em taking off Shane, cos he's a dangerous obsessive schizo. But I felt so sad when Dale died =(. All because of that stupid kiddo Carl, who tried to be funny, agitate the walker who's got his leg stucked in the mud and let him run loose. Sigh.. they took away the fatherly and compassionate figure in the group. Ok but at least Shane is gone, he scares me honestly. Oh and that Lori is one hell of a thundercunt! She never fail to piss me off! She's such a horny bitch, go sleep with her husband's BESTFRIEND shortly after he ''died'' then get all bitchy over Shane for lying to her that the husband is dead. Oh, no one asked you to sleep with him right???! ! Then talk shit to Shane blah blah blah. Selfish bitch. What pisses me greatly is how she reacted to Rick killing Shane in the finale episode, acting like he's monstrous and evil and whatever for killing his ''best friend'' who tried to kill him TWICE! He only killed him in self-defence, how is that even murder??? For god sake she herself warned Rick about how dangerous Shane is and how he's a threat blah blah blah. I think she would rather Shane killed Rick instead right, biatch so she can continue to f* around with other men.

Anyway, I can't wait for October! That;s like 6 freaking months to go man! The suspense is killing me! Can't wait for them to reveal who the hooded figure trailed to the 2 walkers are, oh and the mysterious prison shown at the end. Ok, end of rant!
