priceless
This had me crackin up haha. The china interviewers seriously EPIC FAIL here! lols started off with this china woman asking them ''You two look like a man'', followed by roaring laughter at the seemingly ridiculous question. Check out Helen's priceless expression at 0:06. haha but i think she didn't really mean it (language barrier) seeing that she frantically tries to salvage the situation by saying that she actually meant that they looked cool. Reuben looks like he's trying very hard to stifle an outburst of laughter at 0:19. hahaha. I thought Helen handled the situation very well. Check out the video below

Sublime music
I am totally in love with Rumer's ''Slow''. The potent combination of Rumer's alluring and unadulterated voice with the laid-back, sublimal instrumentals is likened to the pouring of warm honey into my ears, giving me eargasm.

blind faith
Chase & Status- Blind faith
Sweet sensation
I am the man with the heavy heart, and I dare not turn the pages. Riding with automatic self destruction. (I) Is a blind faith, a cruel waste, one bitter taste.
So I know I need this sweet sensation.
(Ooooh) Sweet sensation,
The music that we play,
Will ease your mind. [X2]
What is a man now to do with his mind, when it's working over time.
The best I can do is now dance with the devil.
I, keep my self safe, I wont waste this time and space,
So I know I need this sweet sensation.

127 hours
Listening to 127 hours OST by A R Rahman.. Such a fantastic ost :D As I listen to each piece, the movie scene where it was being played resurfaced vividly in my mind. In my opinion, the movie was so memorable to me was partly due to the fantastic music that complements the powerful images. Some of the more powerful tracks includes
Liberation begins
Touch of the sun
Liberation- sort of a continuation of ''Liberation begins'', except it being much more intense and urgent-sounding. But of course, since that was when Aron Ralston starts the self-amputation =/
And of course there was my fav piano piece Nocturne and also Lovely day by Bill Withers. Then there is also the 1977 Euro-punk anthem Ça Plane Pour Moi by Plastic Bertrand.
Last but not least would be the soulful ''If I rise'' by Dido and AR Rahman. :) Enjoy this beautiful piece.. :) Seriously, 127 hours shld have won the title of best soundtrack in Oscar!

I think i'm abandoning my tumblr and come back to using blogger. Initially thought that tumblr was a good platform for multimedia blogging, well it is, just that it doesn't allow me to embed more than 1 video in a single entry. -.-'. That's kinda dumb, seriously.
Blah
Anyway it's finally the end of clinicals, which means end of year 2! This has been such a bloody loooong semester. Long and torturous i would say. 2 clinicals, which are both dreadful. I nearly failed the second one. But now I'm actually starting to miss TTSH, the small cubicle that the 8 of us had to squeeze into, writing case notes, mugging and practising our techniques inside it. Also kinda wondering how my patients are doing, whether they've been doing the exercises i've give. Really wonder what happen to my Achilles tendinopathy patient after i advised him to return to his usual training intensity. haha. Also missing the food over there, the vinegar-laden bak chor mee (which my friend say isn't very nice actually lol) and the black pepper chicken rice (YUMMY!) from the Indonesian Grill store. And not to forget my daily dose of Mr bean soya milk and then we wil be happily eating our food in the garden outside kopi, basking in the sun at the same time. haha. And then there is this horse clay figure on one of the shelves in Ringo's room where we "hide'' the key to our possessions. haha. If not for the fact that i was borderline fail, i would have enjoyed my placement =/. Good ol' memories =)
Anyway, got a few nice listens i found, now that i am freaking free. hahaha
Found this psychedelic rock band called Jefferson Airplane, and a few of their songs caught my attention. My personal fav would be ''Lather''. I guess it's the enthralling and haunting melody. Somehow this song reminds me of ''Scaborough fair'' and ''Stairway to heaven'' by Led Zepellin. From 1.17 onwards, there is this dude who plays this unknown instrument which i find very intriguing, spiritual and tribalistic- sounding.
Lather
This is another interesting song of theirs, called ''White rabbits'', with reference made to Alice in Wonderland.
