I think i'm abandoning my tumblr and come back to using blogger. Initially thought that tumblr was a good platform for multimedia blogging, well it is, just that it doesn't allow me to embed more than 1 video in a single entry. -.-'. That's kinda dumb, seriously.
Blah
Anyway it's finally the end of clinicals, which means end of year 2! This has been such a bloody loooong semester. Long and torturous i would say. 2 clinicals, which are both dreadful. I nearly failed the second one. But now I'm actually starting to miss TTSH, the small cubicle that the 8 of us had to squeeze into, writing case notes, mugging and practising our techniques inside it. Also kinda wondering how my patients are doing, whether they've been doing the exercises i've give. Really wonder what happen to my Achilles tendinopathy patient after i advised him to return to his usual training intensity. haha. Also missing the food over there, the vinegar-laden bak chor mee (which my friend say isn't very nice actually lol) and the black pepper chicken rice (YUMMY!) from the Indonesian Grill store. And not to forget my daily dose of Mr bean soya milk and then we wil be happily eating our food in the garden outside kopi, basking in the sun at the same time. haha. And then there is this horse clay figure on one of the shelves in Ringo's room where we "hide'' the key to our possessions. haha. If not for the fact that i was borderline fail, i would have enjoyed my placement =/. Good ol' memories =)
Anyway, got a few nice listens i found, now that i am freaking free. hahaha
Found this psychedelic rock band called Jefferson Airplane, and a few of their songs caught my attention. My personal fav would be ''Lather''. I guess it's the enthralling and haunting melody. Somehow this song reminds me of ''Scaborough fair'' and ''Stairway to heaven'' by Led Zepellin. From 1.17 onwards, there is this dude who plays this unknown instrument which i find very intriguing, spiritual and tribalistic- sounding.
Lather
This is another interesting song of theirs, called ''White rabbits'', with reference made to Alice in Wonderland.
